Collaborative Printing Party!

While celebrating a bachelorette weekend in Louisville, these seven workshop participants chose to visit Calliope to spend some time being creative together. When they contacted us to do a printmaking workshop, we proposed a collaborative relief print, in which each participant carved a 5" x 7" linoleum block (with the eighth block as a team effort between them all). Then we printed all eight together, making an edition of seven 22" x 15" prints. It was a ton of fun, and everyone came up with a unique image to contribute. Finally, each participant took home her own print to commemorate the day. Thanks for choosing to spend it with us.
